Wrinkle relaxing injection sales scripts

The per-unit price trap, and the 12-week conversation that decides your retention

This is the treatment that brings patients in and the treatment that trains them to shop. Sold per unit against the clinic down the road, it becomes a commodity. Sold as a cycle, it becomes the most predictable recurring revenue in the building.

Where the revenue leaks

The leak isn't the treatment. It's the conversation around it.

Two leaks, both conversational.

The first is the phone: "how much per unit?" answered with a number, which invites the caller to divide your price by the clinic across town and book there. The second is the twelve-week gap — a patient who isn't rebooked before they leave will notice their movement returning at week fourteen, decide the treatment "wore off fast", and try somewhere else.

Neither is a pricing problem. Both are script problems.

11–14 wks

The window that decides whether a patient maintains or restarts. Rebooked in the room before leaving, patients return inside it. Told "give us a call", most don't.

The four conversations

Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, broken into the sale

  • Phone

Getting off per-unit pricing without dodging the question

The script answers the price question honestly and immediately — evasion loses trust — then reframes it around units required for the area, injector qualification and the review included in the visit. It gives the caller a reason the number differs rather than leaving them to assume it's arbitrary.

    Fixes: per-unit comparison shopping

  • Consultation

Movement assessment and treating the pattern, not the line

How to assess dynamic versus static lines in front of the patient, explain why treating one area alone can unbalance the others, and present a full upper-face plan without it sounding like an upsell.

Fixes: "just my elevens" consults that leave results unbalanced

  • Farewell & retail

The onset conversation, aftercare, and the diary

Onset timing set explicitly — so day three doesn't trigger a worried phone call — plus aftercare, retail that supports the result, and the next appointment booked before the patient reaches the door.

Fixes: day-three anxiety calls, unbooked cycles

  • Review & rebooking

Two-week check and the cycle conversation

As with all injectables, the fourth script covers the review rather than injection technique — that stays with your injector's clinical training. This is the two-week assessment, any adjustment conversation, and how to describe the treatment cycle so patients maintain rather than restart.

Fixes: patients who restart from zero every year

From the script

What it actually sounds like

Every module is written as language a person can say out loud, then built into a Veya AI Coach roleplay so your team practises it before a patient hears it.

Sample exchange — front desk script, the per-unit price question

Caller

Hi — how much do you charge per unit?

Front desk

We're $14 a unit. Can I tell you what that usually works out to, so the number's actually useful to you?

Caller

Sure.

Front desk

It depends entirely on the area and how strong your movement is. Frown lines on their own are usually in the low twenties of units. Most people who come in for frown lines end up treating the forehead as well, because relaxing one without the other can make the other look heavier — that's typically in the forties overall. Your injector will map that with you before anything is agreed, and the price is confirmed at that point, not after.

Caller

The place near me is $11.

Front desk

That's a fair difference and I'd look at it too. The thing I'd check is who's injecting and whether a two-week review is included — that's where we make adjustments if the result isn't sitting evenly, and it's included in every treatment here. If you'd like, I can book you a consultation with no charge and no obligation, and you can compare properly once you've got a unit count for your face rather than an average. Would later this week or next week suit better?

Why this works: the price is given in the first sentence, which keeps trust intact, then immediately made useful. The competitor is acknowledged rather than argued with — the script hands the caller a comparison criterion instead of a defence.
