HydraFacial sales and delivery scripts
A repeatable treatment sold one session at a time — which is the whole problem
HydraFacial is the most membership-shaped treatment most medspas own, and the most commonly sold as a one-off. The gap between those two facts is the largest recurring revenue opportunity in the building.
Where the revenue leaks
The leak isn't the treatment. It's the conversation around it.
The treatment sells itself. That is precisely why the conversation around it is neglected.
A patient books, enjoys it, pays, and leaves — with no booster conversation, no cadence conversation, and no retail. The treatment worked, the patient was happy, and the clinic captured maybe forty per cent of the available value.
The HydraFacial scripts are less about persuading anybody and more about not leaving three obvious conversations unhad.
Booster selection, treatment cadence and homecare. A one-off HydraFacial is usually missing all three — in a treatment that supports all three, in the same appointment, at no extra chair time.

Protecting the price against the day-spa comparison
Callers frequently compare a HydraFacial to a spa facial at half the price. The script explains the difference in mechanism and outcome without disparaging anybody, and positions the first appointment as a skin consultation with treatment rather than a pampering slot.
Fixes: price comparison against non-medical facials
Consultation
Skin assessment and honest booster selection
A structured assessment in front of the patient, boosters recommended against what was actually observed rather than the most expensive available, and the monthly cadence introduced as clinical logic rather than a subscription pitch.
Fixes: no booster attachment, no cadence
Treatment delivery
Consistent protocol, and using the time properly
Standardised step sequence and settings discipline so every provider delivers the same treatment, plus how to use the fifty minutes in the room — the extraction reveal, the observations that inform retail, and the questions that surface the next treatment.
Fixes: provider variance, and fifty silent minutes
Farewell & retail
Cadence, retail and the next appointment
The desk conversation that converts a good experience into a routine: the next appointment booked on cadence, homecare tied to what the provider actually saw, and membership or package framing where it genuinely suits the patient.
Fixes: one-off facials, zero retail attachment

What it actually sounds like
Every module is written as language a person can say out loud, then built into a Veya AI Coach roleplay so your team practises it before a patient hears it.
Sample exchange — treatment delivery script, the extraction reveal
Provider
Do you want to see what came off? Some people love this and some people would rather I never mentioned it.
Patient
Oh, absolutely show me.
Patient
That is disgusting. Is that all from my face?
Provider
All of it, and that's a completely normal amount for a first treatment. What I'd point out is the congestion is concentrated across your nose and chin, which matches what I could feel — that's the area still producing more oil than the rest of your face.
Patient
So what do I do about it?
Provider
Two things, and one of them is free. The free one is not over-cleansing that area, because stripping it makes it produce more. The other is that this refills over about four weeks, which is why we suggest coming back monthly rather than whenever it starts bothering you again. If you'd rather do it every six weeks, that's fine too — I'd just rather you decided the interval than drifted into it.
Why this works: the reveal is offered, never imposed. The observation is specific to this patient's skin, which makes the cadence recommendation clinical rather than commercial — and the provider gives away free advice first.

What the delivery script covers
Published in full, because consistency between providers is what the patient is actually paying for. Device parameters always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and your medical director's written protocol — this module teaches the reasoning, the sequence and the documentation discipline around them.
- SetupDevice checked and primed, all serums in date and correctly seated, tips sterile and single-use per patient, waste vessel emptied and visible for the reveal.
- ScreeningActive acne severity, rosacea flare, recent resurfacing or injectables, isotretinoin history, allergies and sensitivities reviewed and recorded at every visit.
- Step sequenceCleanse and peel, extraction, hydration and infusion delivered in the standard sequence at settings per the manufacturer's instructions for use, adjusted for skin condition and documented.
- BoostersSelected against documented assessment findings, with the reason stated to the patient. Boosters recommended without an observation behind them are the fastest way to lose a patient's trust.
- Sensitive areasReduced settings around the eye area, nostrils and any compromised skin; defined criteria for skipping a step rather than pushing through.
- FinishPost-treatment products, LED where offered, and immediate appearance explained before the patient reaches a mirror.
- DocumentationSettings, boosters used, observations and skin response recorded so the next provider continues the plan rather than starting again.
